STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming

Description

The STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming is an accredited and internationally recognised course that allows you to become a qualified Swimming Instructor/Teacher. The course will teach you the fundamentals for teaching safe, engaging and progressive swimming lessons. You will learn how to teach a learner the basic techniques for the 4 swimming strokes, as well as health and safety, communication, safeguarding, motivation and feedback, and how to effectively plan and deliver classes to a range of abilities.

Upon completion of those course, you will be able to teach non-swimmers up to intermediate swimmers.

Course length: 5 days.

Course cost: Discounted cost £250 (usually £475 per person)

Prerequisites

Learners must be at least 16 years old, and be confident in the water.
